Armaan is having a kinda shitty day.

Better Days is a new comedy web series about a Muslim-American twenty-something navigating a string of awkward encounters as he tries to get on with his day. Writer and star Nabeel Muscatwalla began developing the show at the start of his senior year at Northwestern University (’18). Fellow NU alum Adam Turkel (’18) quickly joined the project as co-director and editor. Nabeel and Adam have known each other since freshman year of college, first meeting in the throes of a cappella callbacks and later bonding over Scorsese marathons and term papers on time travel. With a cast made up of friends and collaborators from Northwestern’s esteemed improv community, all five episodes were shot over the course of two weekends in the spring of 2018. Better Days is an official selection of the Hollyweb Festival and Tribeca Film Festival (Tribeca N.O.W.).
